AnTiQuE WeEk

I've been busy hitting the dusty fields of Antique Week here in my area. It's so fun to live only 30 minutes away from one of the largest antique events around and that I have sweet friends that come to visit me and see what all the fuss is about.

 Love these burlap rosettes!

I think I'm going to frame "JOY" for Christmas this year. I really like the simplicity of it.

More burlap rosettes.

I came home with this "E" for Elijah's room.

If your wanting to make it out there it will be going on until this Saturday.

  1. Holy cow! I want to come over! I love those white letters and the French drying racks! Great photography capturing the patina of age and the love of old things. I'm inspired. Our antique store is having a yard sale this weekend..maybe I'll have to stop by now! Regards, andrea@townandprairie

  2. Fun! I haven't been out this year. I'm not sure if I will get the chance to go either : (. Not that I need anything!
That is so crazy that the same toy chest was bought at Warrenton! Sometimes I wonder if the vendors hit the thrift store before heading out there! Do you remember how much she paid for it? I love to think that I got a smokin' deal! I paid $7, btw.
