Hi there! My name is Pete Alman, and I’d like to welcome you to my website.
Some people know me as “The Woodworking Guy”, to my wife I’m known as “Peeeeeter” when she is annoyed and to my kids I’m simply “Pops”.
I’m older (56) and slower these days but still know my way around a workshop. In fact, my workshop is where I spend most of my time now that I’m retired.
I have never made a lot of money, but I was lucky enough to have a union job as a contractor in Omaha, Nebraska and I now live off a modest pension fund.
I spend most of my time with my family, in the workshop, or teaching the local young bucks how to carve, route, and create.
And that’s exactly what I do with this website, too! If you are here, I’d like to once again extend my heartfelt appreciation and let you know that I hope you feel welcome.
If you have any questions, would like to share any project ideas, or just want to say hi, please use the contact form below to get in touch.
God Bless,
Pete
